11/2010 - APRG’s 6th Annual Local Business Leaders Forum
On the 30th November APRG will be holding their 6th Annual Local Business Leaders Forum and this year’s topic will be “Building Elite & High Performing Teams”. This year’s forum will feature key note speaker Leigh Matthews who shares his insights and views on how to build and maintain elite teams. More details will follow post the event.
10/2010 - Q400 Awards
For the 4th consecutive year APRG was successful in the annual Q400 Awards. APRG is ranked 345th among Queensland's top 400 privately owned businesses for 2010. The Q400 awards are a unique program that provide public recognition of the achievements of Queensland's local business heroes - the owners of the state's leading home-grown enterprises

A group of Recruitment Industry CEO’s and Executive join forces to share their ideas and strategies and offer opinions on the issues facing the recruitment industry over the past and coming year
10/2010 - APRG welcomes Maria Carino
Maria has 5 years recruitment experience across different disciplines, with her most recent experience being within the Business Support area in the Brisbane market with a global recruitment company. Maria has also had firsthand experience within the accounting area earlier on in her career.
At APRG, Maria will be responsible for both permanent and temporary recruitment across accounting support roles.
06/2010 - APRG places our 1250th candidate
1250 people have now been placed into jobs since our start of business on 1st of February 2005. Congratulations to the team on a great effort and thank you to all those who have supported us during this time.
05/2010 - APRG welcomes Brad Kent
Brad has several years experience in recruiting qualified Accounting & Finance professionals in the Brisbane market as a leading consultant with a global recruitment company. He has completed a Bachelor of Business with Majors in Marketing and Management, and completed a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. At APRG Brad is responsible for permanent Accounting and Financial Executive roles.
03/2010 - APRG celebrates turning 5 years old
APRG is pleased to announce that March 2010 brought about an exciting milestone for our business; we have now been successfully trading for 5 years. Our Staff, Shareholders and Board would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to our clients for your support over the years that have seen us thrive and grow to the business that we are today.
Some key business milestones that we have achieved in this time include:
- Successfully helping some 1,200 Queenslanders into permanent and temporary positions
- Recognised in the top 400 Queensland privately owned businesses in 2007, 2008 & 2009
- Nominated for the Queensland Smart State Rising Star Award in 2006, 2007 and 2008
- Finalist in the Australian Institute of Management 2008 Owner Manager of the Year Awards
- Building of an active candidate database of in excess of 17,000 professional people
- Grown to seven local market specialist practices covering accounting, banking, contact centre, financial services, human resources, marketing, retail, and sales industry professionals
02/2010 - APRG welcomes 2 new staff members
In February we welcomed Louisa Haddad and Lisa Smith to the APRG Corporate office.
Louisa has 4 years experience working in customer service within the retail industry, and more recently 12 months administration experience within the recruitment industry. At APRG, Louisa is the Corporate Administrator looking after all aspects of administration.
Lisa brings to APRG high level administrative and customer service skills acquired during previous work roles and a good understanding of recruitment processes from completing her Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management. At APRG, Lisa is our Recruitment Administrator focusing on recruitment administration support and system and process improvements.
